WHAT WE DO

Evidence Based Programs that Work

Nexus Youth and Families isĀ focused on two core direct services:

Behavioral Health (integrating mental health counseling for individuals, groups and families, and chemical dependency prevention, treatment, and aftercare); and

Homeless Services (including street outreach, the Drop-In Center, and supported housing). The Severson Supported Housing program in Auburn serves two young families with children and seven single youth aged 18-24. While there, they learn critical life skills, and how to protect the next generation of their children from abuse and neglect.

THE RAIKES FOUNDATION AND AUBURN YOUTH RESOURCES (NEXUS)

Every year, more than 5,000 youth and young adults experience homelessness in King County. The Raikes Foundation joined forces with us and many other leaders across the region to surround these young people with what they need to thrive, from stable housing to employment support.
